October 2022 eNewsletter
Dear Friends,
As we come to one of the busiest times of the year, I wanted to take a moment and thank you again for all that you do, each and every day, for the kids, families, and seniors in our community.
So many businesses, organizations, and individuals are working hard to make sure the holiday season is a healthy, safe, and happy one for our more vulnerable neighbors.
From hosting Food Drives and other events to participating in our Holiday Giving programs to volunteering, I'm constantly reminded of how we're a community that cares.
I hope you'll take some time to peruse through the many upcoming events we have listed below, and attend a few if you can! And check out our Volunteer Appreciation dinner photos, along with some truly heart-felt thanks to those volunteers who have answered our last-minute calls for help lately.
Thank you again for all that you do for kids, families, and seniors in our community. I hope you have a wonderful start to the fall season.
With warm regards,
Andy Gilpin Executive Director
PS. If you or your business wants to get involved in this good work, please give us a call at 518-399-4624 or email ava@captaincares.org. We have plenty of resources available to make your fundraiser or event a success!
